Beautify Your Crown
It is important to find the right cut, style and color and free yourself from the bondage of hair once you find what works for you. This is one of the most important hair beauty tips.
Hair is made of Keratin which is the same protein that is found in nails, teeth and skin. The health of our hair is dependent upon the health of our scalps. Too much oil on the scalp can clog the hair follicles and inhibit healthy hair growth. Not enough oil on the scalp can make the scalp dry and flaky.
Shiny hair is an indicator of good health. Having meaningful beauty usually includes maintaining hair bursting with good health. Dull, lanky hair is an indicator of a vitamin deficiency or sickness. Chemical processes can also damage the hair so it is important to keep these to a minimum and have a professional administer the process.
The basic hair care regimen includes shampooing, conditioning, brushing/combing and massaging
Homemade Beauty Tip #1: Massage your scalp for about a minute every night to stimulate the blood flow to the roots of your hair.
Homemade Beauty Tip #2: Chlorine and salt water dry out the hair, so apply a little hair conditioner to the hair before taking a dip in the pool.
Homemade Beauty Tip #3: Natural bristles are the most porous which makes them great for transferring the scalp's oils from the scalp to the rest of the hair shaft.
Homemade Beauty Tip #4: Overly hot water will damage your strands when used to rinse out conditioner.

Homemade Beauty Tips For Healthy Hair
Having a bad hair day is said to affect people more negatively than they imagine while having a good hair day makes everything seem possible and boost confidence.
Maintaining great hair requires great nutrition (read more on the beauty diet page).
1. One of the best homemade beauty tips is to eat plenty of protein in order to maintain healthy and shiny hair. Hair is made up of about 97% protein so eating plenty of protein makes a lot of sense. Too little protein causes you hair to become dry and brittle, thin and weak. Your hair color may be affected as well.
The highest amount of protein is found in yogurt, walnuts, salmon and oysters. Salmon is truly a superfood so try to eat more of this because it is not only a great source of protein but contains that good fats (omega 3) that are good for the body, hair and skin. Diet changes is one of the best hair beauty tips.
2. 12 to 15% of hair is water so keep properly hydrated to maintain the health of your locks. This is another of the best hair beauty tips for maintaining natural and meaningful beauty.
3. Increase your fiber intake which leads to proper and faster digestion and the elimination of toxins that if kept in the body too long can prevent the absorption of nutrients leading to dull, dry and brittle hair.
4. Consuming foods containing vitamins such as beta carotene, vitamin A, vitamin B complex, vitamin C and vitamin E are important for healthy shiny hair.
5. Eating food containing minerals such as iron, copper, selenium, silicon, sulfur and zinc are essential for healthy hair as well.

Beauty myths
1. Mayonnaise is good for the hair and makes it sleek and shiny. Although mayo contains eggs, lemon and oil, there is no scientific evidence to show that it makes hair sleek and shiny. It is simply messy and gross if you apply it directly to the hair.
2. Lemon juice will bleach you hair. This is partly correct however if you apply lemon juice to your hair and stay indoors, no lightening of the hair will occur. To get the bleaching effects, you will need to apply lemon juice to the hair and spend time in the sun which will react with the lemon juice and lighten your hair. Citric acid in the juice opens up the cuticle and once opened, hair becomes more sensitive to UV light.

Basic Haircare
ShampooOne of the first homemade beauty tips is to wash your hair in warm water and not very hot or very cold water.
Use a dime or nickle sized amount of shampoo which is enough even if you have long hair! Massage the shampoo into the hair after rubbing your hands together with your fingertips. Rinse with cool water which closes the cuticle and stimulates blood circulation to the scalp. Gently blot and do not rub the hair to dry it. It is also not necessary to shampoo hair everyday. These are some of the most important hair beauty tips. |
